Artist’s Statement. If i must:
My art navigates the paradox of our existence: we are spiritual beings navigating a human experience, each in our solitude yet intricately connected.
Through the primary medium of acrylics, my work emerges as a coupling of my urban upbringing and reverence for the wild, untamed places that pull at us all. At it’s best, the result is a dialogue with the viewer, an invitation to peer deeper into the essence of solitude that defines us.
My message is simple: embrace the solitude that shapes your being to forge a deeper connection with the world. Inspired by stoic philosophy, my work reflects the fleeting beauty of our existence, urging a celebration of each moment.
As a designer, artist, parent, and husband, my life is contrasts—the urban and the natural, the personal and the universal. These intersections shape the narrative of my art which aspires to invite reflection, embraces contradiction, and celebrates the singular beauty of each solitary experience.
