Artist’s Statement. If i must:

I paint because I have ideas and feelings that do not sit properly in words. Painting is the only place they make sense together.

I start with a sketch, a plan, and a feeling. The work evolves, but it is deliberate. These are familiar scenes, postures, rooms, and faces that feel known without needing explanation.
